AgResearch Social Science and Interaction Design Summer Internship
My 10-week internship at AgResearch focused on using design-led approaches to develop and test an assessment tool that would allow researchers to engage with Responsible Innovation concepts in a way that is useful for their research.
The internship was split into two halves. The first half, consisted of researching and learning about RI (Responsible Innovation), planning workshops, running said workshops, and then writing up my findings. This is the work you will see below. I then began planning my RI outputs based on feedback and the findings.
The second half involved formatting various other documents such as company practice notes and continuing to build RI tools and outputs (imagery, writing, framework, etc.), which can be viewed through the button below which will take you to the final output of the internship on the live site.
(Below) An example of an activity I ran during a small online workshop, where I talked with Scientists and Project Leaders to build a user persona of who may use RI tool we were developing.
